Simulations provide students with the opportunity to engage important concepts in a very personal and direct way. Simulations provide students with meaningful and immediate feedback as they explore new ideas. In this session, we will design learning activities that make the most of these powerful learning tools.
By the end of the session, you should be able to.....
- design a lesson that engages students in a meaningful exploration of an important idea in your subject area
and you should have the resources to.....
- plan, implement, and assess a variety of lessons that utilize simulations.
