Explore how gamification and flipped instruction can be leveraged to create an instructional model where learners “play” to earn badges and skill points to unlock greater autonomy in directing their own learning. Google Apps and your learning management system provide a scaffolding to support an inquiry learning cycle, differentiation, learner independence, and collaboration.
This session is a followup to the morning Keynote for participants who would like to begin structuring a gamified unit of study or course. It will be helpful for participants to have a Google account and an Edmodo or other LMS account.
