Description:

You'll learn how to program a small electronics board so that it lights up a light, plays a sound or moves a motor. This mixture of computer programming and electronics is a great way to teach troubleshooting skills, and many robotics platforms are built using the same hardware and code.

Audience:

Two ranges: K to 6, and grade 6 to 12

Devices:

LittleBits (K-6)

Arduino boards (Grade 6 to 12)

I. Review Arduino and coding (5 minutes)

II. Learn about robot applications (3 minutes)

III. Learn how to program an Arduino (60 minutes)

IV. Reflection (7 minutes)
