It is recommended that you have an understanding of what a flipped classroom is, but it is not required. this is a great follow up to the Introduction to Flipping session prior to this session.
We will be going beyond just the introduction of what Flipping is and diving into how to get started. It will be broken down into three categories: Content Creation & Resources, Online Storage & Access, and Classrooom Environment & Assessments.
We will be focusing on screen casting techniques, embedding questions in videos, and expandin the classroom past the school walls with the FlIpped Classroom Model.
By the end of this session, teachers will be well prepared with multiple tools to flip their classroom, or just a couple lessons.
it is intended for all K-12 teachers who are interested and eager to flip their classroom.
iPad is recommended, but not required. I will be going over the use of a laptop, tablets, and any other devices in addition to the iPads. Your school does not have to be 1:1 for this. My experience is in a BYOD environment, but even that is not necessary.
