As if there weren't enough educational buzzwords, GAMIFICATION has creeped its way into our classrooms. While many see games as nothing more than a time filler, review activity, or necessary evil; I hope that after attending this workshop you will feel educated and empowered to evaluate the use of a variety of game types to meet relevant classroom goals from classroom management to guided and independent practice, then beyond into synthesis, simulation, and evaluation.
