Makerspaces, FabLabs, and DreamLabs are appearing more frequently in public libraries, universities and schools. Maker Spaces all look different and are as unique as the teacher(s) who commit to exploration and discovery in their classrooms. There is no right or wrong way, as long as your passion for creativity shines through!
Children of all ages need hands-on opportunities to try and fail, and try again. They need to be given the chance to think creatively and problem solve by imagining, designing, and building using a variety of materials. As the pendulum swings far and fast toward a digital world, it is up to us to provide the real-world connections that awaken curiosity and promote thinking and understanding.
Embrace your inner Miss Frizzle! Join us as we help you build your Maker Space from the ground up!
