Are you ready for what will turn out to be the most exhausting yet professionally and personally rewarding week of your life? Are you ready to learn with and from the most innovative leaders and teachers in educational technology in the state of Pennsylvania?Are you ready to kick your teaching and your students’ learning up a notch with some of the most cutting-edge technology tools, resources, and instructional practices? Then YOU are ready for the Keystone Technology Innovator STARS Summit!

This week-long summit to be held at Shippensburg University from July 25- 29 will provide resources and opportunities to nurture and enrich the skills of selected educational leaders, while advocating the importance of technology in education.The Keystone Summit is a $100 event for all Keystone STARS, including room and board at Shippensburg University for the week. Summit attendees will have the option to earn 3 graduate credits provided by Eduspire.

Throughout the week, attendees will participate in a variety of activities that focus on the four pillars of the Keystone community: Connect, Develop, Lead, and Advocate. Keynote speakers, spotlight sessions, hands-on workshops, participant-led “edcamp-style” sessions, collaboration, and networking are just a few of the experiences being planned for the Keystone STARS. In addition to the Four Pillars of KTI, themes for the week include, but are not limited to, the following topics:

  • Leading from the Middle
  • Online and Blended Learning
  • Creativity / Innovation
  • Classroom Transformation
  • STEM / STEAM


But the summit won’t be ALL work; there will be plenty of time for exploration and play! Evening activities and meal times prove to be events not to be missed. Raffle prizes, vendor socials, Makerspace night, and a trip to a local vineyard are just a few events planned to relax, network and enjoy the company of your fellow Keystone Technology Innovator STARS!
