So, do you think that you are a Google savant? Let's add to your repertoire with some of my favorite hidden gems found in the tools and features of Google. Help students become an "empowered learner" and a "knowledge constructor" through the use of these often overlook resources.

The Google tools in this session will be linked to their ability for teachers to transform traditional activities across the SAMR continuum. We will begin with a quick dive into SAMR and then link each use described to the different levels of SAMR.
We will review the following tools:
- Search - including use of Reading Level, Timeline, Google Trends, Advanced Search and Custom Search
- Chrome - Use of Extensions, Multiple Accounts, Increasing Productivity
- Forms - Collecting Data and Use of Large Data Sets
- Classroom - How to Use with Students
- Docs and Sheets - Add Ons and Best Practices
