Using Skype, you can connect students across town, around the world, bring in industry experts, or take virtual field trips. Learn how you can connect with other educators, get lesson plans, start a project and more from Skype in the Classroom. Come to this session to learn how to connect your students and participate in a Mystery Skype with participants somewhere else in the world!

Session Objectives:

  • Discover the global connections and authentic learning opportunities that are possible by using Skype in the Classroom.
  • Navigate the Skype in the Classroom website to plan and organize virtual field trips, guest speakers and global classroom collaborations.
  • Explore the power of Mystery Skype lessons to give students the opportunity to work collaboratively and use reasoning skills while interacting with students from around the world.
