Collaboration & Connection


Session Description:

Participants will explore a variety of methods for making connections w classrooms near and far, K-12, and learn about global projects and sites to help classroom teachers create authentic collaborative relationships w/ other educators and their learners. Methods of making connections, activities to engage in, and common classroom surveys, projects, and games will be shared. Participants will also engage in a Mystery Hangout.


Session Outline:

Session participants will explore rationale for classroom collaboration outside of the classroom walls. We will explore existing tools and global projects that will make it easier than ever before for students and teachers around the world to work towards a common goal or project, while gaining insights into hurdles that must be crossed for cohesive collaboration. Finally, participants will engage in a Mystery Hangout with an educator in a mystery location.
