In a race against time, participants find clues, solve riddles, and complete tasks to “breakout”. Groups are presented with a challenge and engage in experiential learning, problem solving, and critical thinking. Come play an actual game of Breakout and learn how to incorporate it into any classroom or professional development.
10 minute -- introduction of speakers and concept
45-55 minute -- game replication with attendees
5-10 minute -- reflection, wrap up, questions
BreakoutEDU can be used with any and all standards across the disciplines. This is an interdisciplinary learning experience that can place students in a hands on approach to solving culminating problems in order to arrive at the final conclusion.
