Growing your Mindset on Failure
By Phil Cerami, Natalie Stearns, Charlie Trovato, & Staci Blair
Our PSA: What is a growth mindset and why should we have one?
Our Objective/Challenge: Improve the development of students' perseverance by modeling and coaching adaptability in their response to failure through the development of a growth mindset!
Take the Mindset Quiz and determine where you fall!! Once you determine if you are fixed or growth, brainstorm how you can:
1. Alter your mindset to growth (if you are fixed)
2. Educate your classmates to adopt a growth mindset (if you are growth)
How have you reacted to failure? What can you do to change someone's fear of adversity? Access this
Failure Blog below throughout the school year as needed. Use it as a reminder for yourself and/or your students.
