Mary Agnes Chase
Suffragist and botanist Mary Agnes Chase (1869-1963) was barred from some scientific expeditions for fear that her presence would distract the men. Because of this, she was forced to fund her own botany trips. La sufragista i botànica Mary Agnes Chase (1869 - 1963) va ser exclosa d'expedicions científiques perquè la seva presencia podia "distreure" els homes.
