Keffeler Receives Recognition from SDSM&T

Recognized as a 2018 Outstanding Recent Graduate, Evan Keffeler, PhD, receives a plaque from South Dakota School of Mines and Technology President James Rankin. Keffeler was nominated for this award by Dr. Kurt Katzenstein for establishing himself as an expert in the field salt mechanics and applied rock mechanics. SBHS alumnus of 2005, Keffeler graduated from SDSM&T in 2009 with a focus in geological engineering. He received his Masters of Geological Engineering and a PhD in Geo-Engineering from the University of Nevada-Reno.
