There were many changes in the school over the summer. A poll was taken to find out which one was the student’s favorite.
Out of 100 people 6 people liked the new lights in the lunchroom.
Payson Dirk (12) said, “They are brighter and not too loud, so I can enjoy my food in peace.”
Eight students chose remodeled room 111.
“It’s much more clean and professional,” Tanner Brengle (12) said.
Of those polled, 86 said the best change was the new EZH20 water fountains. One of the fountains was gifted from the graduating class of 2015.
Celie Jones (11) said, “Being a lover of the environment, this water fountain is a great way to save water bottles and it’s very efficient.”
According to the read-out counters on the devices, as of Sept. 24, these water fountains helped eliminate waste from approximately 3,000 disposable plastic bottles.
“I like them because I can fill up my water bottle faster and easier and also make it to class faster,” Timber Hudson (12) said.
These new EZH20 water fountains are located right outside the lunchroom and restrooms. By using the EZH20 fountains and reusing water bottles, consumers can help to protect the environment from hundreds of plastic bottles and save money.

Since the addition of the two new EZH20 water fountains, the equivalent of over 2,900 plastic bottles has been eliminated. According to Seametrics Blog, “refilling a half-liter water bottle 1,740 times with tap water is the equivalent cost of a 99 cent water bottle at a convenience store.” photo by Cody Cline
