Beginning their preparations for the season, the Oral Interp team held their first meeting Wednesday, Sept. 4 in Coach Eric Johnson’s room.
The meeting began by introducing both new and old members to each other, moving onto electing the officers shared with the debate team.
Officers for the 2013-2014 season include President Ryan Honaker (12), Vice President Jordan Smith (11), Treasurer Christian Bedard (12) and Secretary/”Team Mom.” Ethan Marsland (12).
Samantha Ricci (12) held auditions for her unnamed Reader’s Theater, a parody of “Harry Potter.” Individuals auditioning included Jordan Smith (11), Seth Gerberding (11), Ryan Honaker (12), Olivia Lyle (10), Dustin Fox (11), Willow Cowherd (11), and Christopher Wheeler (11). The Reader’s Theater will first see use in competition on October 12th for the Lead-Deadwood Invite.
