According to freshmen Geometry teacher Debbie Cano, her class is working on the probability of winning at roulette. Roulette is a gambling game in which a ball is dropped onto a revolving wheel with numbered compartments; the players betting on the number at which the ball will come to rest win. An American roulette wheel has the numbers 1-33, plus a 0 and a 00, meaning there are 38 slots in which the ball can land on. Although roulette is a gambling game, it makes a good lesson in probability.
