Runners Kick It Into Gear

Sturgis Scooper Varsity girls Cross Country team ran in the Rapid CityInvite on Friday, September

21 at the Elks Golf Course in Rapid City.

The Girls Varsity Cross Country team participated in the Rapid City Elks

Cross Country Invite on Friday, September 21. About 20 teams from North

Dakota, Wyoming and South Dakota competed in the event. Placing in the meet

was Green in 9, Applegate in 24, Peterson in 44, Engrecht in 45 and

Frost in 48.Placing for the boys team was Gabe Harms who medaled by placing 22 and

Steven Bales placing 31.

The next meet the Scoopers run in will be the Sturgis Invitational and it is

on the course at Fort Meade on Thursday, September 27th and it is a great

course for spectators to come watch the Scoopers.
