Appearing on t-shirts, in magazines and on national television, graphic design creates an aura of excitement as it grabs attention of viewers.
Local graphic artist Kasey Shoun designs T-shirts at Tom’s Ts where he has been employed for the past 16 years.
“For my love of art and seeing our community wear my designs,” Shoun said, “I love my career at Tom’s T’s, graphic designing.”
No one really knows the full extent of needed skills and knowledge when tackling a position in graphic design.
“There is no manual for life but much like art it’s trial and error. What might work for others might not work for you,” Shoun said. “Don't strive to be like the norm but be sensible, be humble, and never lose track of what brings you joy in life.”
