How to Submit a Study or Position
UPDATE: Leagues may now submit their positions separately from their studies, either individually or as a group document, if they are accompanied by a single submission form. The submission description section could have "Resulting Position:" and the position statement or a link to the position. Associated study documents may be added later. Changes or corrections to entries can be made by emailing the Clearinghouse address used for submissions.
Submission Criteria:
Studies or positions must meet the following criteria:
Are approved by submitting League’s Board (the documents, not the Clearinghouse submission),
Are approved for public consumption, and
The resulting League position(s) are currently in use.
Studies in progress may also be submitted but must be quickly replaced or they will be removed.
Posting Options for documents:
Documents may include PowerPoints, multimedia files and associated consensus positions. Word files should be converted to PDFs.
THIS IS IMPORTANT: While you may submit links to documents on your local League website or other sharing site, then you must place the documents where the URL(s) will not change for a very long time.
How to Submit:
Download the Word Submission form here. Once the document opens in your browser, go to the File menu, and choose Download as a Word document.
Attach the form and any document(s) to an email addressed to: clearinghouse@leagueofwomenvoters.org
You will receive a confirmation email when the submission is published.
Note: All information on the submission form will become public information, so please consider this when choosing contact information, etc.
