School District Consolidation

Summary of Study
Decreased government education funding, declining student populations, lagging achievement, growing expectations for academic offerings, costly accountability measures, and high property taxes compel us to question whether school district consolidation makes sense in our area. After a year-long study, we determined that it does, and recommend that local school district boards conduct further research to further this recommendation.
