Study
The
LWVMC
study
of
the
financing
of
campaigns
for
office
in
Montgomery
County
was
a
response
to
legislation
proposed
in
the
General
Assembly
to
authorize
the
use
of
local
funds
to
subsidize
campaigns
for
public
office
and
also
legislation
to
authorize
the
county
to
require
the
disclosure
of
additional
information
about
campaign
contributions.
This
study
will
enable
us
to
be
better
prepared
to
address
the
specifics
of
these
proposals
in
the
event
that
they
are
introduced
again.
