This report is based on a nearly two-year local League of Women Voters study of transit in Marion and Polk Counties, an area that includes the state Capitol, Salem (Oregon).  The report reviews local and regional bus and paratransit services and their various sources of funding.  It then discusses funding alternatives, enhancement options, the value of transit in the area, and future challenges including unmet needs.
