Summary of Study
This study provides an examination of tribal concerns and issues for the three sovereign tribal nations that have a presence in the Thurston County area: the Chehalis, Nisqually, and Squaxin Island Tribes. The study reviews local, state and national tribal history; treaties and court decisions. The committee interviewed and worked with Tribal members for the study.
