This is a study of
SC's water resources; where our water comes from and where it goes, who holds
rights to it, how it is regulated, & the adequacy of the water supply to
meet our needs. League interest in water issues is heightened by factors that
include: strains on water supply resulting from population growth, shrinking
water levels that are predicted to worsen with climate change, legal
questions regarding water rights, & water demands placed by industrial
and energy generation projects.
