Summary of Study
This study, completed in spring 2024, used primary and secondary research to examine the availability of emergency, interim, and permanent shelter and housing types, as well as supportive services, for people experiencing homelessness. In addition, the Study Team analyzed policies and processes employed by the city of Los Angeles for handling encampments and the people living in them, as well as processes for moving people into housing. The report provides a snapshot of Homeless Count data.
