The purpose of this document is to establish the minimum requirements for the Flogistix "Lead In" procedure for Field Service.
Section 1: Pertains to ALL Flogistix unit deliveries being made to oil field lease locations by Flogistix trucks or Third Party trucking companies.
When any Transportation Driver (herein listed as "Driver") is making a delivery of Flogistix units to an oil field lease, a Flogistix Field Manager or a Flogistix Field Mechanic will meet the driver at a pre-designated location and “Lead In” the driver to the delivery location.
The Contact name and phone number of a Flogistix Field Manager or Mechanic Lead will be provided to each driver at loading time by Flogistix dispatcher. The person designated as the "Lead In" contact will be determined by the Area Manager or Area Lead Mechanic when first contacted by the Driver. The "Lead In" ( herein listed as "Lead") contact phone number will be given to the Driver by the Area Manager or Area Lead Mechanic.
The Driver is responsible for contacting the “Lead” shortly after loading and arrange a meeting date, time and location. The driver will also contact the “lead” along the way if any delays or changes to the load or delivery date/time occur.
The “Lead” will be responsible for coordinating delivery schedule with the customer in case a crane or other equipment will be required to unload the unit from the truck. If any changes or delays to the delivery schedule occurs, the driver will communicate that to the “Lead” and the “Lead” will be responsible for communicating and coordinating with the customer.
The “Lead” will meet the driver at the pre-determined time and location and be responsible for having appropriate directions to the set location.
The “Lead” will be responsible for selecting the route to location in order to ensure that the truck/trailer can navigate the route successfully (taking into consideration bridges, overhangs and turns along the way).
Once on location, the “Lead” will take charge of coordinating of with the customer and/or roustabout crew on setting the unit(s) in the proper place and assisting with unloading if needed.
The “Lead” will also be responsible for guaranteeing that a Flogistix Unit Transfer form is completed and submitted in order to notify the Fleet Manager and Dispatcher of unit delivery.
The “Lead” will be responsible to relaying mileage to location to the Area Manager for billing purposes.
The "Driver" is responsible for completing a Bill of Lading and supplying it to the Flogistix Fleet Manager.
Section 2: Pertains to ALL Flogistix units being picked up from an oil field lease location by Flogistix trucks or Third Party trucking companies.
When any "Driver" is picking up Flogistix units from an oil field lease, a Flogistix Field Manager or a Flogistix Field Mechanic will meet the driver at a pre-designated location and “lead” the driver to the delivery location.
The Contact name and phone number of a Flogistix Field Manager or Area Lead Mechanic will be provided to each "Driver" when the unit is ordered to be picked up.
The "Driver" is responsible for contacting the “Lead” prior to pick up date to arrange a meeting date, time and location. The driver will also contact the “Lead” if any changes to the agreed upon date, time or location occur.
The “Lead” will be responsible for coordinating the pick up with the customer in case a crane or other equipment will be required to load the unit onto the truck. If any changes or delays to the pick up date, time or location occurs, the driver will communicate that to the “Lead” and the “Lead” will be responsible for communicating and coordinating with the customer.
The “Lead” will meet the "Driver" at the pre-determined time and location and be responsible for having appropriate directions to the pick up location.
The “Lead” will be responsible for selecting the route to location in order to ensure that the truck/trailer can navigate the route successfully (taking into consideration bridges, overhangs and turns along the way).
Once on location, the “Lead” is responsible for ensuring that the unit is clean, the unit’s vessels are empty, the unit is disconnected properly, flanges are capped, solar panel is lowered and secured properly and the unit is ready to load.
The “Lead” will supervise the loading process, making sure the unit is not damaged.
Once loaded, the "Driver" is responsible for properly securing the unit(s) to the trailer.
Once the truck is loaded and ready for departure from location, the "Driver" will follow the “Lead” off location and back to a main road where the two will split ways.
The “Lead” will also be responsible for guaranteeing that a Flogistix Unit Transfer form is completed and submitted in order to notify the Fleet Manager and Dispatcher of unit delivery.
The "Driver" is responsible for completing a Bill of Lading and supplying it to the Flogistix Fleet Manager.
Management - Management is responsible for implementing, supporting, and enforcing the requirements of this procedure to their respective locations/area.
EHSS - Responsible to assist in the implementation of this procedure and to review for effectiveness.
Employees, Contractors, Vendors, ETC. - Are responsible to follow the follow the requirements outlined in this procedure and ask for assistance

Four Gas Monitor, if nipple is being replaced in the field which is outlined in the Flogistix EHSS Manual, Section 8, Procedure 8.3 Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
This procedure applies to all units in service in the field, at a service shop, or in any storage yard.
Insure Flogistix personnel have proper safety certification or site orientation if required by the Flogistix Customer.
Insure Flogistix personnel adhere to any Customers safety practices.
All employees shall be initially trained on the following topics:
Employee Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedure according to Flogistix policy
Emergency and First Aid procedures
Methods and Observations that may be used to detect the presence or release of a hazardous chemicals or gas in the work place
