This Procedure is under development.
The purpose of this procedure is to establish the minimum requirements for re-setting the Force Feed Lubricator Break-In Timer on the Flogistix Smart Gas Lift Panel.
This procedure applies to all Flogistix Gas Lift units equipped with the Smart Gas Lift Panel.
This procedure is to ensure the proper set up of the Force Feed Lubricator system Break-In feature after the required break-in time of 200 hours from a new start-up or after replacing compressor rod, rod packing, or compressor piston rings.
This procedure applies to all Smart Gas Lift unit with the Flogistix Smart Gas Lift panel currently in service in the Field, Test Loop, at a Repair Shop.
Flogistix Service Technicians will perform the changes from Break-In to normal Force Feed Lubricator rate as laid out in this procedure according to this procedure.
Before any work is performed a JSA needs to be done according to Flogistix procedure along with any Customer requirements before any work is started.
The Force Feed Break-In feature of the Smart Gas Lift panel is to be used only when a new compressor frame is put into service for the first time or anytime when new rod pressure packing has been installed on either or both compressor throws. The Break-In feature is to be used during the first 200 hours of service on new compressor frames or when rod pressure packing has been replaced.
The Smart Gas Lift panel calculates for current engine speed when figuring flow rate and cycle times of the force Feed Lubricator. When the break in time has been achieved the panel will show an alarm in the Compressor Status box in the top right corner of the Main page of the panel screen. There will also be an alarm sent through Axil/Flux that the Recip Break-In Timer Complete has been met.
To Re-Set the Break In Timer for the Force Feed Lubricator Cycle Time follow these steps:
The Break In Timer Reset option access is accessed through the Main Page screen as shown in the example below.
**(In the top left corner of the Main Page may say as shown Gas Lift Mode - Kick-Off or Gas Lift Mode - Auto-Op Hunt. It will not matter which mode the Gas Lift panel is in to reset the Break In timer)
Find the Force Feed Lubricator Cycle Time. Touch the box below the Force Feed Lubricator Cycle Time as illustrated by the Orange Arrow in the example below.
After touching the box below the Force Feed Lubricator Cycle Time the screen will change to the Force Feed Lubricator Cycle Data Page
At the Force Feed Lubricator Cycle Data Page find the Lube Break-In Time Page button on the right side of the screen.
Touch the Lube Break-In Timer Page button as indicated by the Orange arrow in the example below.
After touching the Lube Break-In Timer page button the Recip Lube System Break-In Timer Page box will appear in the screen as shown in the example below.
At this point a few options can be done.
When the Recip Break-In Timer Enable Switch is active it will show to look like the slide switch is to the right position and will be ON in orange.
When the Recip Break-In Timer Enable Switch is not active it will show to look like the slide switch is to the left position and will be OFF in grey
In the screen shot example above the Recip Break-In Timer Enable Switch is Active
In the screen shot example below the Recip Break-In Timer Enable Switch is Not Active
If the timer needs to only be Re-Set then touch the round Red button labeled Recip Break-In Timer Reset.
If the Break-In timer needs to be turned off then slide or touch the Recip Break-In Timer Enable Switch to change the selector switch positions
If Rod Packing on either cylinder throws have been changed the Force Feed Lubricator will need to be adjusted to the Break-In rate and Recip Break-In Timer will need to be rest.
