Bus Transportation is a privilege . Students who violate the rules for student and bus safety, or violate school rules or laws while on the bus can/will have their bus transportation privileges revoked.
DISCIPLINARY ACTION PROCEDURES
1. When bus & safety rules have been violated, bus drivers are to assess the situation and report immediately the name(s) of students, details of the incident, and factors that may have contributed to the situation directly to the district office.
2. The district office will then review the report and refer the incident to the appropriate school principal for possible disciplinary action.
3. The school principal is the primary person who has authority to determine whether or not disciplinary action is needed and/or whether or not bus privileges should be revoked. The school principal will consider all known past disciplinary problems and other known factors related to the student in conjunction with the school’s disciplinary action plan when making this determination.
