Public Hearing - First Wind Energy, LLC Tax Incentive Proposal

Beaver County School District is accepting public input regarding First Wind's community and economic development proposal to the Beaver County School District Board of Education. The hearing is scheduled as part of the regular board meeting on September 11, 2014 at 4:30 pm, and the meeting will be held at the district office at 291 North Main, Beaver, Utah 84713. The purpose of the hearing is to meet with First Wind representative(s), exchange questions and answers regarding the proposal, and allow for public input. If approved at a future Board of Education meeting, the proposal will result in a significant reduction in property taxes for the proposed projects. More information may be obtained from the Beaver County Community Development Agency at 105 East Center in Beaver City.
