THE POLICY
Consistent with R277-113, the Board will annually review and approve all financial policies and procedures governing district and school financial operations.
All financial policies and procedures shall be posted on the District's website for public and staff access along with related training materials.
The Board recognizes the District operates in a continuously changing environment. Consequently, the Board delegates authority to the Business Administrator to make any necessary changes during the year to the online and publicly available financial procedures, but changes to the financial policies require Board approval. Any changes to financial procedures that are substantial and/or material must be shared with the Board, administration, and appropriate staff; this may be done through the district electronic mail system and by making all financial policies and procedures available on the District's internet website.
The Board reserves the right at any time to add or make changes to any District financial policies and procedures which the Board deems appropriate and necessary. The Board reserves the right to formally review District financial policies and procedures at any time.
