F-4: ETHICAL STANDARDS IN FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT

THE POLICY

It is the policy of the Beaver County School District Board of Education to require that all employees demonstrate high ethical standards, follow district policies and procedures, abide by laws and regulations, and adhere to ethical and professional standards.

The purpose of this policy is to protect the welfare of the district's financial system and resources and promote the health and well-being of everyone who participates in educational programs.

The board recognizes that public school educators are professionals and should share common ethical standards and behavioral expectations. Because public education plays a vital role in the life of our community, the board expects all employees to understand ethical standards, familiarize themselves with these standards, and conduct themselves accordingly.

Training materials related to ethical standards will be provided online and be accessible to all employees and the public.
