Notice - 2015 Flex Spending Account Contribution Limits

Many employees who participate in the district's traditional health insurance plan also contribute to flex spending accounts. Internal Revenue Service regulations are very specific as to the maximum amounts which can be contributed to a flex spending account pre-tax with regards to income tax calculations.

Employees should ensure they do not contribute more than the maximum amount allowed per year. The calendar year 2015 contribution limits is capped at $2,550.
