Primary Assignment Contracts

It is the supervising administrator’s responsibility to ensure a contract is in place before

the employee begins work.

All employees should receive and sign a contract BEFORE they begin the work for all of

their positions. This is to clarify and make sure terms of the employment agreement are

clearly documented and agreed upon by both the employee and school/district.

Contracts include employment conditions such as the following: amount to be paid,

payment schedule, authorized working hours, terms and expectations of the

assignment, and other critical factors related to the employment agreement.
