Non Fiction

102 Minutes: the Untold Story of the Fight to Survive Inside the Twin Towers by Jim Dwyer and Kevin Flynn - (One of the survivors of the towers wrote that this is the most accurate book detailing what happened inside the towers after the planes struck) It reads like a novel and focuses on specific individuals inside the towers on that day. At the end of the book the reader discovers who survived and who did not. Very sad but hard to put down.

Among the Heroes: United Flight 93 and the Passengers and Crew Who Fought Back by Jere Longman – Short bios of the people on the flight and also of some of the terrorists. Very interesting.

The 9/11 Report: A Graphic Adaptation by Sid Jacobson and Ernie Colon (ills)

After 9/11 by Sid Jacobson

September 12th : We Knew Everything Would Be All Right, written and illustrated by first-grade students of H. Byron Masterson Elementary in Kennett, Missouri.
