Directions for Creating your Own Bookmarks:
Make a copy of the copymaster in google slides
Use our lists from the Genre Bookmarks or RIYL Book Lists as a starting point to form new lists that reflect your collection and student interests. First, see what you already own in your collection, then do a subject search in your catalog to add any titles unique to your collection. I have also found it useful to search recommended lists from other libraries on the web.
For copying, use the 3 per page format back to back. Cardstock works best, but I have used paper when mass distributing lists (in all teacher's boxes, for example).
Blank Copy Master (download to edit in MS Word)
When posting to the website, I use the single bookmark template and convert to .pdf format.

Each year during Teen Read Week and Read Across America Week, we hold bookmark contests. Students submit original artwork based on the year’s Teen Read Week theme. Winning Entries are printed with a corresponding thematic booklist on the back. These bookmarks are used throughout the year to promote different displays each month.
