Fixed schedule or Flexible schedule?

I prefer a combination of Fixed and Flexible scheduling.  My Language Arts classes come in on a regular basis to check out books.  Any free days are left available for other class projects.  If you are on a fixed schedule, one other way you can get in other departments is by grade level.  When I needed to see 7th graders for their Science Fair Projects, I asked the Language Arts teachers to give up their day so that their students could come in their Science classes instead that week.

How to get teachers to come to the library?

• Support their curriculum

• annual projects for each department

• Offer a "tech start" for Freshmen classes.

• have an "a la cart Menu" of Mini Lessons such as G Suite, Formatting papers, Works Cited that can assist teachers with their instruction

• "Lets Try this together,"

• Try these high interest Book Activities
