Middle School College Promise

The College Promise provides a tuition-free first semester at Long Beach City College, guaranteed admission to Cal State Long Beach for students meeting minimum requirements, and much more.

• I will attend school every day because I understand that poor attendance causes poor grades. I will miss school only when I am not feeling well.

• I will manage my time by using a planner or notebook to track homework, projects and other school-related work.

• I will complete all class and homework assignments, review my class notes and study every day.

• I will monitor my School Loop account at least two times per week to ensure that I am on track to earn the best grades possible.

• I will challenge myself by enrolling in rigorous classes that will prepare me for high school and college.
