Mrs. Gru's Quote:
What does it say? (Explain in your own words what the quote is telling you to do.)
John Lennon's quote, "Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans," from the song, "Beautiful Boy," is explaining that sometimes we spend so much time planning out our future, that we forget to be present in the moment and pay attention to what is happening in our lives right now.
What does it mean? (Explain how you should change your life in order to use the quote's advice.)
What John Lennon is telling us to do is to find happiness in the moment and not wait for some future event to make us happy.
Why does it matter? (Explain how your life and the world will be better if everyone would take the quote's advice)
If everyone were to find happiness and be grateful for what they have in their lives right now, people would rely less on material things to find happiness and the world would be a better place.

In this lesson, we talk about how to find an image source and post the link in a Works cited.
The electronic version of this assignment takes several class periods, as we also cover formatting a document with sources.
The best student examples are printed and used to make a class books of precepts.
