Timer

One of the best ways to help with time management is to set a timer. I use one all the time when I give students a task. It helps to display it on the projection screen so that students know how much time they have left to complete a task.

I also use it to keep myself on track. When checking out books, I give each group of students 3 minutes to look for books. Otherwise they start having recess in the library!
