Read Off Fines

If students cannot pay for a late/damage/loss fine they have the option of reading off a fine during their lunch or recess.

Use "Got Library Fines?" slips from Mrs. Reader Pants. and its 1 Minute of Reading = .01c off fine. Keep the tracking slips handy at the front desk. You can also offer a "Volume Discount" 1 hour = $10.

Use a sharpie to give students a "library tattoo" of the amount they owe (aka Sharpie) on the back of their hand as a reminder if they opt not to read off their fine.
