Elsa Ouvrard-Prettol shared this list in the Facebook Group: School Librarian's Workshop (closed group-request to join by stating your school library affiliation)
We have used the power of the First Lines of books to generate interest (and check out!) from our middle schoolers. During our advisories (just 15-20 minutes), we have whole classes excited and on task as they read lots of "first lines" and seek the books they are interested in (or others like it). They talk, they share, they laugh, they ask for recommendations... and they start reading.
