Cue No. 2 - Mrs. Figg.mp4

The first two Potter scores had broad and sweeping cues, with very few that were short in length. The third score changed that approach and utilized lots of quick musical moments, with many cues lasting less than a minute. This second cue in Order of the Phoenix continues the latter trend of highlighting short moments throughout the score, therefore letting the large setpieces feel more like great arrival points.

A small and whimsical Double Trouble is introduced to this score for the first time, solidifying it within the Prisoner of Azkaban sound. Low throbbing strings pace as Harry, Dudley, and Mrs. Figg walk up Privet Drive. When they turn to go towards No. 4, the music pauses, and an inquisitive celesta and harp observe, along with Mrs. Figg, the eerie stillness of the street.
