Cue No. 19

As Ron apologizes to Harry, the Weasley theme plays in a hesitant yet warm way. After the boys usher back in their friendship, Hermione is accompanied by a classic Hedwig’s Theme as she’s eternally confused by her two best friends. On the castle shot, there is a transitory Wondrous World, taking the audience back to the normal school days that these students are still going through despite the extraordinary events taking place.

The Harry in Love variation plays as he sees Cho across the Great Hall. As he makes a fool of himself, chords fade into Hermione reading Rita’s article on the first task. Rita’s theme creeps in quietly as Hermione reads out loud. Nigel then enters the Great Hall with the post for Ron, and continues to stand there, awaiting Harry’s attention. An innocent moment dancing around the Lydian mode plays until Ron dismisses Nigel and turns to the package on the table.

Ron opens the package and begins to realize what’s inside. His theme plays again and again with variations that become more and more anxious as he begins to realize this is what he will have to wear publicly in the very near future.
