Cue No. 14

This short cue introduces the first full statement of Draco’s Task. Celesta plays through the entire melody as he makes his way to a familiar location: the Room of Requirement. A key change emphasized by a low tamtam highlights the moment he finds what he’s looking for, though the audience is not quite sure what. The strings play a dark brooding version of the theme, and as they crescendo with choir, the melody stops right before the final note; the scene cuts away quickly to the far off Quidditch pitch across the Hogwarts grounds.
