How to translate blessing

"Blessing" is a tricky word because it is not a concept that in-universe Mandos would understand the same way that many people on Earth understand it. By the "modern" era, which is what the Mando'a conlang was designed for, Mandos do not believe that gods have much of a hand in the affairs of mortals — assuming that an individual even believes in their existence. Thus, it's better to find a different way to express the same sentiment. Some suggestions:

• dinuise: gifts

• jatne dinuise: best gifts

• jate balace: good opportunities

• jatne balace: best opportunities

• jate bane: good occurrences

• jatne bane: best occurrences
  (Ban is word derived from banar, "to happen.")

• riyese: favors

• jatne riyese: best favors

Or you could be specific, such as:

• briikase: happiness

• kot: strength

• mirshko: courage

• naak: peace

• orilin: surplus, profit

• waadas: wealth
