This red silk star and speckled print dress is rumoured to be a Catherine Walker. It was first seen with the red hat on the left at the wedding of one of Charles' best friends, Nicholas Soames during Diana's engagement. (NS turned on Diana and began casting aspersions about her mental health regarding her accusations involving CPB and adultery with Charles. He later apologised quite grudgingly, even though he must have been aware of the truth. That marriage didn't last either.)

I have found exactly 1 replica of it over the years, by an eBay seller around 20 year ago (maganda7). It had the red version of the hat, but I have to admit, even though the red hat is more elegant, I prefer the blue. It was a dress I expected to see in the Danbury Mint Royal Wardrobe.
