I always liked this simple cream double breasted dress. The gold buttons matched the belt buckle, and the hat & handbag have taupe accents that go together. I sometimes wonder whether the hat was meant to go with the bow facing the back, but it's cute in front, too, & the wide taupe edged ribbon band finishes off the brim nicely.
This is Diana's 1992 Garter Ceremony outfit.
My mother made this dress for me, but it took me 20 years to find a decent belt. My hat wishes were fulfilled by the brilliantly talented Sunnybet (see her hat photo below left). The shoes are FM and someday I will use some ivory paint or pearl nail polish to make them into spectators since S 'n' E orders are no longer an option.
As an outfit for the FM vinyl doll, I'd like to see it include:
1. Dress with belt (a belt with a big buckle!)
2. Cream/taupe picture hat
3. Cream/taupe spectator pumps
4. Taupe & cream clutchbag
5. Gold watch
6. Gold hoop earrings
