Lot 77 – Black Beaded Strap Gown

This Bellville Sassoon raised $23,000. It’s a bit more complicated than it seems at first glance as there is a side sash-tie on the left hip that accents the wrap skirt. The simple bodice is held by ornately beaded straps of mostly gold beads and sequins in a chain-pattern.
