I'll bet this hat came from Emma Somerset a British milliner whose hats were popular in the late 90s. Another enticing lampshade, this time with a big fat green bow on the front. The suit has a slimming band of navy across the midriff of the jacket & Diana accessorized it with more navy in the hat, the handbag, the shoes & the gloves. There are big gold hearts on the buttons & little gold buckles on her shoes. I'm not sure how difficult this would be to do in doll scale, but a gold bead glued on the shoes might work? Turns out to be less difficult than I thought, because as of 2025. I've found 5 examples.

As for accessories, the sewists had varying success with the monster lampshade hat, partly due to the shapes in the construction, and partly due to the proportions, and also, most crucially, textures of the materials. I have both the examples shown below (mini-mary's and Axelle Marion's.) Axelle's hat is more structured than mini-mary's, which is all sewn fabric with no hard base, gives the basic shape with good proportions, but is too flimsy.
Monsieur David's example does the best overall features: the structure, the proportions and the colours show a good contrast, however it can be difficult to judge if the standard apple green felt is going to go with your suit fabric (felt is hard to match to particular fabrics,) Compare the main examples I've been able to archive over the past 20 years or so.
